Butterflies everywhere!
It's certainly turning out to be a great summer for Butterflies, locally Hatfield Forest has seen the biggest influx of Silver-washed Fritillaries in years, a Butterfly once thought to be quite scarce in Essex.
In my Garden i've had numerous Peacock, unusually alot of Small Tortoiseshell's and Painted Lady's in abundance.
The White's seem to be doing well, favouring the Lavender in the back Garden, with Large, Small & Green-veined White appearing.
The Blue or should I say 'Blues' have been about too, the usual Holly Blue, earlier on in the year but just yesterday I noticed this lovely female Common Blue, a new Butterfly for my Garden.
