As we arrived at 6.30pm it was warm and muggy and it had stopped drizzling (which it had done all morning and was not forecast to my knowledge) In keeping with the cock-up of forecasting, the sky cleared with a bright moon and the breeze picked up at about 10pm (forecast said cloudy and still) But the temperature did hold up and we got a few moths, but nothing to get excited about.
A full list will be added in due course.
Best moth for me was a couple of stunning Pink-barred Sallow, a moth I never saw last year but 2011 was a good year for them as I recorded 21 that year from 23rd of September til the 03rd of October, with a high count of 6 on the 28th from my parents farm, so I hope I do get one in the garden....there is still time.
