Not a bad turn out at all with a further 6 new ones for the year.
Campion was the best moth of the night as I only usually see singles of these every year.
The next few nights look quite stormy and unsettled, I think I need some extra sleep!

My goodness Ben! These catches are phenomenal. I'd have lost count very early on. I very much agree with you about welcoming the wetter weather, just so that we can have a breather and a catch up.
ReplyDeletebtw, if you happen to be visiting the excellent Upper Thames Moths blog, you'll see a pic of what I thought was a Dog's Tooth. Dave Wilton thought so too but Marc Botham thinks it may be a Pale-shouldered Brocade I'd be very interested to know your opinion - in due course, no rush
