More of the same please

This weather we are having at the moment is just cracking, with day-time temperatures hitting 30 degrees the last few days the nights have been mild at around 15 degrees minimum, good considering the clear skies.
On Sunday night I set the trap up in the garden in anticipation for another respectable haul. I wasn't disappointed come Monday morning with lots of moths in and out of the trap.

Highlight was a garden first Blotched Emerald, not in the best of condition but they all count.

Also a garden first and quite surprising because it is a common moth, a lovely Scorched Wing.

A single Square-spot Rustic was my second earliest record of this moth, this isn't my earliest record. I had one on the 20th of June 2010. The next earliest record is the 06th of August!! So these two early June dates are rare indeed.
It was nice to get a second garden record of Small Elephant Hawk-moth and a really nice colour form of Riband Wave was very photogenic. 

Tonight I will trap again, then it is field trip time again and once more I shall be trapping my parents farm in search of some more goodies.
