Migrant alert!

Not a snifter here yet though, loads and loads of exciting records coming from the continent, new for Britains, new for Counties and really odd records (Chinese Character and Poplar Hawk-moth spring to mind, both trapped in the last few days).
The most unusual thing I have caught lately was a Yellow-line Quaker on the 16th, found the day after under the sheet, a bit worn.
6 moths was pretty good for my garden this time of year and I was pleased to catch another Mottled Umber.

Going on a field trip tonight (I never thought I would dust off the traps and wellies in mid-December!)

Keep those traps out guys, you never know what might turn up, good luck!
