Friday night moth night

In fact the weather has really picked up, that it's moth night every night currently! With numerous species added to the year list night on night.
Friday night it started to improve, and with  highs of 24 degrees and lows of around 14 degrees, it was a marked difference.
10 new species were noted, one before lights on was found fluttering around the inside of the bucket lure trap for the Orange-tailed Clearwing (AND) a fresh Hedya nubiferana.

Highlights of the night were a pretty Broad-barred White and two new species for the garden, which now takes me over 700 species, both Nemapogon koenigi & Elachista atricomella.

Moth garden list for 2023 stands at 207 species
