Latest from the home trap

A super set of moths on the 25th of September, warm nights ensued but it was breezy at times.

5 macro moths made it onto the year list, and some real cracking Autumn colours were represented.
The best moth was an Orange Sallow, a little faded sadly but a good record for here.

Clancy's Rustic are still doing well here, 2 were recorded on this night and a further 3 the night after.

I haven't seen many Rusty Dot Pearl's this year, so it was nice to record another.

A much fresher second for the year Large Ranunculus was very welcome, as were several forms of Beaded Chestnut, and two season first Red-green Carpets.

Conditions remained mixed all last week and into this week with varying results and some much cooler nights.
