Still quiet despite milder nights

January is cruel for us moth enthusiasts, there is little to find this time of year unless you make the effort to go out into a good wooded habitat.
For the last 3 or so weeks i've been struggling with my health, the weather hasn't been great for moths and i've been relieved in that fact, so that I can recover fully.

On Thursday night I flicked my light on, and left it running all night. Given that it didn't drop below 11c, I was hopeful of some moths.
Unfortunately there was only one moth found nestled in an egg tray on the outside of my trap, a tiny grey Agonopterix heracliana.
Well at least it was a new for year tick!
