It's certainly been very steady here, but the year list is starting to build and now surpassing last years figure on the same date (Not by much though).
I seem to be averaging 1 new species per night recently, which certainly makes lighting up worthwhile.
It was the turn of the aptly named Red Chestnut last night, not a common moth here, and i'm lucky if I see a couple a year.
Temperatures have now risen and there is a little bit of activity around the trap tonight already, after a day of heavy rain.
