Boiling!

Things are really hotting up out there now, the daytime temperatures are reaching the mid to high 20's now, but the nights, although warm are pretty cloudless sadly and we are still in the 'bright moon' phase as the full moon starts to wane.

Saturday night was a pretty decent night with varying amounts of cloud, and lows of 14c.
At 4am the sky was completely clear, but by the morning it was thick cloud, typical!

A good selection of moths were found, around 45 species but I'm running out of time to list everything now, so just the new for year species will be listed.

Highlights were a lovely furry and fluffy Lobster Moth and a plethora of micro moths, mainly made up of Tortrix moths.

Another warm night tonight hopefully, but with zero cloud and a near full moon rising at midnight I don't think it will be that busy.
