A continuing theme of terrible mothing lately, it's mid-June now, traps should be heaving with stuff, and sadly they are not, this is affecting nearly all of us at the moment.
A really poor catch of 20 moths last night of only a handful of species, best were two year firsts, the odd looking Barred Straw and a worn Clouded Border.
Night time temperatures start to tick up a bit now, not dropping below 10 degrees for the forseeable.
Moth garden list for 2024 stands at 296 species
13/06/24 - Back Garden - Fordham - East Cambridgeshire - Actinic Trap
Barred Straw 1 [NFY]
Clouded Border 1 [NFY]
